Articulate Rise 360 is a web-based authoring tool that creates fully responsive, scroll-based eLearning courses using pre-built content blocks. Storyline 360 is a slide-based desktop tool better suited to complex interactions and simulations. Rise is faster to develop in, automatically mobile-responsive, and easier to update — making it the preferred choice for onboarding, compliance, and knowledge courses. Storyline is preferred when you need intricate branching, software simulations, or highly custom interactions.

A standard 30-minute Rise course typically takes 4–6 weeks from kickoff to final delivery, including two structured review rounds. Short microlearning modules (5–10 minutes) can be delivered in as little as 2 weeks. Timelines vary based on content complexity, the number of custom interactions, media requirements, and how quickly your team can review and approve. We provide a detailed project timeline in every proposal so you know exactly what to expect.

Rise courses are compatible with virtually every LMS that supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI (Tin Can), or AICC. This includes Cornerstone OnDemand, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Oracle Learn, Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo, Litmos, LearnUpon, and many others. We configure the correct output settings and tracking logic for your specific LMS — and we can test deployment in your environment before go-live if needed.

Yes — full brand customization is a standard part of our Rise development process. We configure a custom Rise theme using your brand colours, typography, and imagery. We also apply your brand guidelines to all custom illustrations, icons, banners, and background imagery used in the course. The result is a course that looks like it belongs to your organization, not a generic Articulate template. Just share your brand style guide and we handle the rest.

Yes. We localize Rise courses into 30+ languages — from common European languages like French, German, and Spanish to Arabic (RTL layouts), Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, and many others. Our localization process covers text translation, audio narration re-recording, image adaptation where culturally necessary, and full LMS re-export in each language variant. We use professional human translators and subject-matter reviewers — not machine translation alone — to ensure accuracy and cultural fit.

Accessibility is built into our development workflow from the start, not bolted on at the end. We build all Rise courses to WCAG 2.1 AA standards as a minimum — including descriptive alt text for all images, keyboard navigation support, sufficient colour contrast ratios, properly structured headings, and captions for all video and audio content. For organizations with formal accessibility requirements (such as Section 508 in the US or the European Accessibility Act), we can provide an accessibility conformance report upon delivery.

To scope and start your Rise project, we typically need: a brief description of the training topic and target audience, your existing content (PowerPoint, Word docs, PDFs, videos — whatever you have), your LMS platform name and preferred export format, your brand guidelines or style guide, and an indication of your target delivery date. Pricing depends on course length, interaction complexity, media requirements, and number of review rounds. As a general guide, a standard 30-minute Rise course with professional instructional design, custom branding, and two review rounds typically ranges from £3,000 to £8,000 (or equivalent in USD/EUR). Microlearning modules are less; multi-module programs with localization are more. We always provide a fixed-price proposal with a full breakdown before any work begins — no surprises.

Yes — we offer Rise course maintenance and update services, even for courses we did not originally build. If you have Rise source files, we can take them over and manage ongoing updates. If you only have the published SCORM output, we can rebuild the course from scratch in Rise (which is often faster and cheaper than you'd expect, given Rise's rapid development capabilities). This is especially useful for compliance courses that need annual content refreshes or policy updates.

Yes. On project completion, you receive the full Rise 360 source project (which requires an Articulate 360 licence to edit), the exported SCORM/xAPI package ready for LMS upload, and all supporting assets (scripts, audio files, custom imagery, storyboard documents). You own everything we create for you. There are no ongoing licensing fees to IKHYA for using your completed courses.
